Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules governing how you may use the Connections Kenya platform. It supplements our Terms and Conditions and applies to all users, including Service Providers and Customers. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use Connections to:
- List lawful services you are qualified to provide.
- Search for and contact legitimate service providers.
- Leave honest, first-hand reviews of services you have used.
- Communicate professionally with other users.
3. Prohibited Content
You must not post, upload, or distribute content that:
- Is false, misleading, or deceptive.
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
- Promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Contains personal data of third parties without their consent.
- Promotes illegal activities under Kenyan law.
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code.
- Constitutes spam or unsolicited advertising.
4. Prohibited Services
You must not list or advertise the following on Connections:
- Unlicensed medical, legal, or financial advisory services.
- Services requiring professional licenses you do not hold.
- Illegal goods or controlled substances.
- Gambling or betting services.
- Firearms, weapons, or dangerous materials.
- Services that exploit or harm minors.
- Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes.
- Counterfeit goods or replica products.
- Any service prohibited under Kenyan law.
5. Professional Conduct
All users must:
- Treat other users with respect and professionalism.
- Not engage in harassment, threats, or abusive communication.
- Honor commitments made to other users.
- Not engage in price-fixing or anti-competitive behavior in violation of the Competition Act, 2010.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@ajirabiashara.co.ke. We take all reports seriously and investigate within 48 hours.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in: content removal, account suspension, account termination, reporting to law enforcement (where legally required), and legal action where appropriate. We cooperate fully with Kenyan authorities including the DCI, ODPC, and CAK.
