Refund Policy

1. General Policy
All fees paid to Connections Kenya are generally non-refundable. This includes listing fees, verification fees, and sponsorship fees. This policy is in accordance with applicable Kenyan consumer protection law and our service terms.
We encourage you to review all details carefully before making any payment.
2. When Refunds Are Considered
We will consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances:
- Technical Error / Duplicate Payment: If you were charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error on our side.
- Service Not Delivered: If you paid for a Listing that was never activated due to a technical fault on our end (not due to a rejection from our review team).
- Unauthorized Transaction: If you report an unauthorized payment from your M-PESA account within 7 days and provide supporting evidence.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Listing rejected after review due to policy violations or inaccurate information.
- Change of mind after payment is made.
- Failure to generate customers, contacts, or jobs through your Listing.
- Account suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms.
- Verification rejected due to invalid or fraudulent documents.
- Sponsorship once the sponsorship period has commenced.
- Subscription fees for periods where the Listing was active, even if not utilized.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of the transaction:

- Subject Line: "Refund Request β [Your Name] β [Transaction Date]"
- Include: Your registered email, M-PESA phone number, amount paid, M-PESA transaction code, and reason for the request.
We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via M-PESA within 7β14 business days.
5. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 of Kenya. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) at cak.go.ke.
